Attend CCSD93 Preschool Registration on 1/22
If you have a child who will be age 3 or 4 by September 1, 2026 and are in need of a preschool next year, look no further than CCSD93's award-winning Early Childhood Center (ECC)!
CCSD93’s award-winning Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers a play-based, nurturing environment where 3- and 4-year-olds learn through exploration, develop independence, strengthen problem-solving skills, build confidence and practice positive group interactions.
We hope this winter break brings rest, celebration and special memories! We look forward to a great 2026 together. A warm Elsie Johnson welcome to Ms. Sue Wexler. Ms. Wexler will become our school nurse.
At last night’s Board of Education meeting, the Board did not support the proposed boundary adjustments. As a result, no boundary changes will move forward for the 2026-27 school year.
CCSD93 will be hosting a program called Be Seen and Heard©, a child sexual abuse prevention program for all students. It is designed to create an age-appropriate, safe and engaging environment where students will learn about the difference between safe and unsafe touch, the difference between safe and unsafe secrets and the importance of speaking up to trusted heroes and adults.
Our attendance competition is off to a great start! We are excited to share that 3rd grade was the winner for the highest rate of attendance in November with 96.6%.
The purpose of this letter is to keep you informed regarding a situation that occurred at Elsie Johnson Elementary School today.
We had an amazing week celebrating American Education Week! We worked together to make posters, we read, we listened to a read aloud, we created with our buddies and wrote thank you cards while celebrating Team EJ with team spirit each day.
CCSD93 parents: your child’s 1st trimester report card is now posted on TeacherEase. Access it through the mobile app or on a web browser by selecting Academics - Report Cards.
