Free lunches are available for pickup at Western Trails Elementary School and Quail Run Court in Carol Stream each Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. beginning Monday, June 8 and concluding Wednesday, July 29.

This message is to inform you that your child’s report card for the 3rd trimester of this school year has been posted to TeacherEase.
Key dates for the new school year include new student orientation and student placement/busing notifications on August 12, Meet the Teacher events on August 18, and the first day of school for Grades 1-8 on August 19. Kindergarten will follow a shortened schedule on August 19 and 20 before transitioning to full days on August 21. Preschool Meet the Teacher will be held on August 20, and preschool classes begin on August 24.

CCSD93’s partners at the Carol Stream Police Department will host three FREE unique events this July, designed especially for incoming 2026-27 middle school students from either Stratford or Jay Stream Middle School, as well as outgoing 8th graders.
This is our last Jaguar news of the year! We look forward to celebrating the end of the year with the students over the next 6 days. Thank you for partnering with us. As we end our time at Elsie Johnson, we want to say what a wonderful opportunity it has been. Thank you for entrusting your most precious gifts with us each day. This is such a kind and caring community. We will hold many memories close to our hearts for years to come.
Our attendance for the year so far is an average of 94.3%. At this time last year, we were at 93.4%. Thank you for your efforts to ensure your child is at school, on time and ready to learn. We appreciate the strong partnership!
